Waiting on Wednesday: Destined by Aprilynne Pike

November 9, 2011 By Jessica Filed Under: Waiting on Wednesday 9 Comments

“Waiting On” Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we’re eagerly anticipating.

I read the first three books in this series in one weekend.  I got the first book, Wings, free from a promotion on my kindle.  Then I saw that Stephenie Meyer had given it a blurb so I had to try it.  And I’m so glad that I did.  The whole series is addicting, unpredictable, enchanting and unique.  I’m going to hunt down an ARC of this book if it’s the last thing I do.   All of the covers have beautiful flowers on them and this last cover does not disappoint.

Release Date: May 1, 2012

Series: Wings #4

 Pre-order Destined at Amazon

    I love her covers — they all seem so lovely and dainty, though I’ve yet to read any of them. :P

    As much as I love/hate this series, I’m invariably drawn to it and cannot STOP reading this. No matter how hard I try. Tamani just won’t loosen his grip(;

    I hope Laurel ends up with David!! They are perfect together. I don’t really like Tamani that much.
