I started this challenge for me. It’s a dream of mine to look at my bookshelf and say unequivocally and without exception, “I’ve read all those books.” And some of those books have been sitting on my shelf for a LONG time. Hence the name :) You can sign up for this challenge here. There’s a giveaway going on right now until the end of January 2012 for all those who sign up.
Here’s the list of books that are sitting on my shelf right now, mocking me. I’ll add numbers to them as I read them. So far I have 21 books which puts me at the Grungy Level.

Oh you have quite the selection, as well. I’m excited to read your take on Beloved, and East of Eden (both of which I plan to read, also, but for different challenges). So you read ‘The Hunchback of Notre Dame?’ … Was it all you thought it was going to be?

Actually it was! It was pretty fast paced (well, for Hugo anyway :) Passion, forbidden love, gruesome violence. Loved it :)
