Waiting on Wednesday: Reached by Ally Condie

April 11, 2012 By Jessica Filed Under: Waiting on Wednesday 9 Comments

“Waiting On” Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we’re eagerly anticipating.

When the cover for Reached was revealed a few weeks ago, twitter went crazy! It’s not only gorgeous and unique, but it does a great job of representing the story.  You see the letter “E” that is missing the vertical line?  It represents something not being quite right in the story AND that Xander, Ky and Cassia are all equal narrators in the story.  I am really excited to read it, especially from Xander’s view!  I have all kinds of theories about what will happen that I will share with you when the release date gets closer.

Release Date: November 13, 2012

Series: Matched #3

Oh, I love how much thought they put into the cover and I love how you described it! I haven’t read any of the other books but here’s to hoping this one doesn’t disappoint you. :)

Say what now…XANDER’s POV?! I’ve still only read the first book (shame, I know), but he was my favorite character. Now I’m feeling compelled to get through this series…I love the cover, too!

I really need to read Crossed so I can be up to date when Reached is released! I love Xander too, so I’m looking forward to reading in his POV. Great pick!

I am so excited for this one! I didn’t know they would all 3 be equal narrators though. I can’t wait to hear about Xander! His story will definitely be interesting! Thanks for sharing this!
