Dusty Read-a-thon Winners!

July 23, 2012 By Jessica Filed Under: Events Leave a Comment

You’re all winners!  And here’s a unicorn!!

Not just any unicorn – a unicorn with REGRETS.

You’re welcome.

Okay seriously.  I want to thank everyone who joined the Dusty Read-a-thon.  It was a lot of fun and it really motiviated me to get through 2 of my dusty books.  Here’s the final stats for everyone (that I know of – tweet me if I left you out!)

@booksatruestory Finished 2 books :) #dustyreadathon

@booksatruestory I read 170 pages in about 3 hours I think #dustyreadathon

— Isa (@lollibea) July 22, 2012

Stefan: Here are my stats just in case: 417 minutes (6 hours, 57 minutes) and 202 pages.

Me: 177 pages which was 2 books. I didn’t keep track of time, but I read in every spare minute I had while I was at the water park with kids all day!

Jessika: Well, I think I’m about done. I’m all read-out. Total time was 4:30 and total pages was 318. Not bad!

Thalia: I only had about six hours total over the readathon weekend and some 120 pages–although for Tolkien, I feel like that’s pretty good, hahaha.

Lilaboti: so my numbers would be 5 and a (approaximately) half hours…and 307 pages

@booksatruestory I did finish Magyk on friday 564 pages over 2 days. Though it is a funny shaped book, but there it is. #dustyreadathon

I randomly selected a winner from all above to win Cold Kiss by Amy Garvey.  And the winner is…..

@LiLaboti_ You won my #dustyreadathon giveaway! It's Cold Kiss by Amy Garvey. Email me your mailing address booksatruestory@gmail

Congrats Lilaboti! :)

For everyone else, I didn’t leave you out.  All of you are going to get a day with Arthur Weasley.  He’ll take you to the Leaky Cauldron and in return he would like to ask you what “gifs” are, specifically how they move without magic.  And if you have time he would also like to know what a “PS3” is, how to send a “text message,” and if you have an extra screw driver that he could have.

I hope you all had fun and got lots of reading in! Have a great summer and thanks so much for joining us!

My name is Jessica. I love to read Young Adult and classic literature. I’ve been a book blogger for six years and I haven’t gotten tired of it yet. I’m a very curious reader. Writing about all the questions and thoughts I had while reading a book is the best hobby ever.  Read more….
