To-Read List for August
In honor of Utah Book Month, I’m going to read as many books as I can by authors from Utah. Since I’m on a book buying ban, these are also ones that I own already :D
Goodreads Links
Life in the Pit by Kristen Landon
Shayla Witherwood by Tamra Torero (the author doesn’t live in Utah, but it was published by a publisher based in Utah so I’m still counting it :)
Other books on my TBR this month that aren’t for Utah Book Month:
Goodreads Links
Persuasion by Jane Austen (because For Darkness Shows the Stars is a re-telling of it and it’s like the only Jane Austen I haven’t read yet!)
For Darkness Shows the Stars by Diana Peterfreund (because I’m giving this book away next month and I want to read it first)
Invention of Hugo Cabret by Brian Selznick (because I want to watch the movie and I can’t until I read the book)

Winners!
Congrats to all the winners last month! (That I forgot to announce)
The winner of my 1 Year Blogoversary giveaway was Catherine S. She chose Insignia and Insurgent.
The answer to my secret blogoversary scavenger hunt was Star Wars (the clue if you want to know was: My title has two words and they both rhyme. My life started off as a book not a movie though most people think it’s the other way around. If you are stumped, Force yourself to think of the answer. )
And the prize for guessing that right was a signed ARC of Everneath by Brodi Ashton with a bookmark and guitar pick necklace.
The winner of the scavenger hunt was Penny P.
The winner of my Page to Screen Challenge giveaway was Kara D.
And the winner of the Dusty Read-a-thon was Lilaboti. She won a paperback copy of Cold Kiss by Amy Garvey.
I’ve already emailed the winners and sent off their prizes (except for Everneath. It’s going in the mail ASAP I promise!)
