Book Blogger Appreciation

September 17, 2012 By Jessica Filed Under: Events 7 Comments

I was really sad that I couldn’t participate in Book Blogger Appreciation Week last week.  I mean, I was in Disneyland so I wasn’t THAT sad, but I wanted to give a shout out to some of my favorite bloggers to spread the appreciation love that I missed out on last week.

Some of my favorite book blogs – I wish I could name them all!

Clean Teen Fiction

I love the content ratings on all the books Kathryn reads.  She writes honest and bubbly reviews that I love reading!  She is incredibly friendly and fun to talk to.

The Reading Fever

I love the creativity of Penelope’s blog.  When I first found her blog, I was SO jealous of the awesome concept behind her blog.  Back then she had the whole list of “symptoms” of books that cause her reading fever.  Then I found out she’s a blogger from Utah and I’ve met her a few times.

Squeaky Books

Enna’s blog was one of the first book blogs I found.  I loved her colorful blog and honest reviews.  I want to be like her when I grow up.

Book Haven Extraordinaire

Photobucket

I love Inky’s blog.  She is so fun to talk to about books and her gushy reviews are a lot of fun to read.  She knows how to put passion into those reviews whether she loved it or hated it.

Recovering Potter Addict

Not only does she have the best name for a blog ever, but Aylee picks the most amazing books for Waiting on Wednesday that not everyone is picking.  If she says a book is 5 stars, I immediately add it to my TBR.  I love her taste in books.

Bumbles and Fairy-Tales

Margie is so adorable.  I watch her book haul vlogs whenever I can – they are so cute and fun.  I love the tours that she does – I have found some great books from her site!

Candace’s Book Blog

Candace's Book Blog

I LOVE her Confident Reads feature about indie and self-published authors.  That feature was a big influence in me deciding to accept indie and self-published authors for review.  She blogs with integrity and runs some great blog tours that I hope to be a part of someday soon (when I finally catch up!)

Book Adventures

Diana writes a fun and unique blog.  She does things like featuring recipes to go along with books, writing really cool features for picture books and writing recaps of local authors that she has met.  I’ve had the chance to meet her a few times in real life and she is just darling.

Jenni Elyse

I love Jenni’s book reviews, but she also writes great movie reviews and some really interesting life update posts.  She is fun, honest, and quirky in a good way.   I never miss her posts.

My name is Jessica. I love to read Young Adult and classic literature. I’ve been a book blogger for six years and I haven’t gotten tired of it yet. I’m a very curious reader. Writing about all the questions and thoughts I had while reading a book is the best hobby ever.  Read more….
