So, how did you do on your Dusty Bookshelf reading challenge? (Me? I, um…didn’t even get halfway through. *slinks in corner* But I read Paradise Lost and it was haaaard)
This is the place to link up your wrap-up posts, updated sign-up posts or leave a comment telling me how you did! You can also leave your final progress report at the Dusty Bookshelf Goodreads Finish Line discussion.
Everyone who leaves a comment, links up their blog post, or comments in the Goodreads Finish Line discussion will be entered into a giveaway for $15 of books from The Book Depository. If you finished your challenge, you can get 10 extra entries in the giveaway. This giveaway is open internationally.
I can’t wait to see how you did! And be sure to say hi to a few other blogs on the list.
And be sure to check back on Wednesday for the sign-up post for the Dusty Bookshelf Challenge in 2013.
Thank you so much to everyone who participated in the challenge this year!

Um, I totally failed. I didn’t pick up ONE book! I swear I’m going to at least start one this month. Geez.

I didn’t finish a bunch of my challenges this year either. Maybe if I cram in a bunch of reading during the holidays???? :D
coleen patrick says
I didn’t finish–although I did end up donating a whole stack to a charity. :)
Jessica B says
That’s awesome! I donated a bunch of books, too :)
Kathryn Cooper says
I did a terrible job!! I think I only read one book on my list. Why has it taken me so long to finish all the books I was given for review?! I don’t except review books anymore because I really just want to read what I want when I want! :) Especially my dusty books.
Jessica B says
Same here! Getting tons of review books is not as fun as I would have thought. Reading what I want when I want is definitely more fun. :)
Primrose says
Yay! I’ve completed my challenge but I’m only aiming for Pixie Dust. So it’s only 5 books. :)
Jessica B says
Congrats! If only I had finished even 5 books… :)

I didn’t reach my goal of the grunge level but I did get between the dust bunny and cobwebs levels (I read 10 or so). Most of the ones that I read were those short monthly books but they have been sitting on my bookshelf for at least 4 years.
Jessica B says
Wow! Way to go getting 10. Are the short monthly books the theme reads we did every month on Goodreads?
Aylee says
Oh Jessica – I’m so sorry I couldn’t comment on this earlier – I’ve been so, so busy this month! My goal was to read 10 books for the challenge and I read 11 with hopefully one more by the end of the year that I am currently reading. Thank you for hosting the challenge – it really gave me the extra motivation needed to get through some of the books from my shelf.
I won’t get another chance to chat with you, so I wanted to wish you a Merry Christmas, a happy New Year, and a safe and relaxing holiday!!
Jessica B says
Thank you so much for joining Aylee. I love to hear when people finish their challenge and that it motivated them to read books from their shelf! I hope you had a Merry Christmas as well :)
Alysia @ My Little Pocketbooks says
Jessica I loved this challenge. I am currently reading my last book. So I am *fingers crossed* going to try and knock it out. I am going to add more than 10 to my 2013 challenge. I am so thrilled with this challenge. Thanks for hosting!!
Jessica B says
Thanks for joining Alysia! I’m glad you liked it and that it got you to read so many books :)

What?!? the contest is over? AAAAAAAAAAH I was waiting for the last minute to leave my wrap-up post ::cries::
Jessica B says
Sorry! It was supposed to still be open today! I will extend it a few days. :)
Jessica B says
Sorry! It was supposed to end today! I’ve extended it a few days so you can still enter until Jan 5th. Can’t wait to see your wrap up post :)
Sophia Chang says
You are awesome!!! I’ll get that up in a hurry!
