To Read
I’m having a hard time picking what I want to read this month. Even though it was really good, it took me a whole month to read Darth Plagueis. Plus it was kind of dark. I’m feeling like I need some fast, light reads. :) I’m looking at my kindle and it’s like when you want something to eat and you look at the fridge full of food and say, “There is nothing to eat in this house!”
So for my first pick, I’ve got a review book from an indie author that I love called Bullies by Gary Taaffe. It’s fun and light MG fiction set in Australia. I’ll probably read it in a day. :)
Next, I need a fun book. It’s also counts as a MG Fantasy Challenge book. The False Prince by Jennifer A. Nielsen. I got it for a steal :)
And oh my gosh why is it taking me an hour to pick these books? I think I have ennui.
I really want to read a classic. I haven’t read one in a long time and I miss them :( Too many review books or something. So I think I’ll read Peter and Wendy by J. M. Barrie and then read Tiger Lily by Jodi Lynn Anderson. Those books will count for my Classic Double Challenge :)
I’m a really slow reader. I’ll be lucky if I finish those four books in a month.
TBR Update for January
I finished 3/4 books from my January TBR. I didn’t make a TBR pile for February because of the move.
The Last Jedi by Michael Reaves, Maya Kaathryn Bohnhoff – finished!
Pivot Point by Kasie West – finished!
Reached by Ally Condie – finished!
Harry Potter Page to Screen by Bob McCrabe – um, didn’t start.
The only book I read in February was Darth Plagueis.

I am feeling the same way! I need something easy and light to read!! So, I was totally planning on going to the Dark Days tour (and I was so excited!) but then a beloved family member died, and I jumped on a plane with the kids, and I won’t be back in time to go! So, I’m sending my hubby :) :) He is such a good sport to go for me, even though he isn’t looking forward to it! It’s about a 1-1/2 hr drive to get to Provo. So if you go, and see a guy there alone and totally out of place…that is probably him, haha!

I’m so sorry about the death in your family.
I’m not going to the Dark Days tour this year, but if you ever couldn’t go to a signing I would totally get a book signed for you! Your husband sounds so sweet that he would drive that far to get them for you.
I haven’t gotten to your comments on Darth Plagueis yet, but I’m going to soon. Can’t wait to read them :)
Sending love and thoughts your way for you and your family.

She’s at the King’s English Bookshop tonight. Sorry I confused you. I might go to her signing tonight as well. :)

Looks like some fun reading choices! I wasn’t a fan of Tiger Lily. I wonder what you’ll think of it.
