Also, I wanted to get some feedback about the challenge since we are halfway through the year. Do you guys like the mini-challenges? I haven’t had a lot of participation in them. My name is Jessica. I love to read Young Adult and classic literature. I’ve been a book blogger for six years and I haven’t gotten tired of it yet. I’m a very curious reader. Writing about all the questions and thoughts I had while reading a book is the best hobby ever.
You know I love this event, including titles not owned yet! Immediate feedback: links need to be open much longer. Some groups keep the months open all year. You recall I was done 20 books ages ago. I had to wait three months for a review page, it closed before I realized it was up, thus I had to wait three months more. Reviews are available for everyone to enjoy now. :)
Mini themes are nice for folks not competing in 40+ circles. I strategize material to hit multiple bull’s-eyes with one shot. No time to further designate authors or genres. Personal choices are tightly-reigned as is. When the Canadian group is done Canada Day (July 1st), I can’t wait to spend a few weeks with favourite subjects! I’m officially completed the challenge (well, I was already done back in February), but I’m still keeping track. I’m up to 14 dusty books completed.
I didn’t even know that there were monthly mini-challenges! Is it possible to get an email reminder at the end of each month for what is upcoming?
That’s a good idea. I will have to look into how to set up newsletter. I’ve never done one before.
