Last year I spent a total of $281.25 on books. So…yeah. I spent a lot more this year. Like almost 3 times as much. Even without the vintage books (**see below), I spent twice as much as I usually do on books. I think the subscription boxes had a lot to do with that. Last year the average price per book was $7.60 which was a lot lower than this year because I got tons of cheap ebooks. Man, reading is an expensive hobby!

Since the vintage books I got might skew the numbers, I thought I would calculate the numbers without them.

You know, I have been wondering how you managed the subscriptions and the hard backs. Your total cost on books is almost my monthly income! What I’m taking away from this is that we need to tell you when there are good book sales!
