In My Mailbox ~10~

October 17, 2011 By Jessica Filed Under: In My Mailbox 6 Comments

In My Mailbox is hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren where I show all the books I’ve gotten by various means throughout the week. Since I LOVE book cover art on my kindle, I took my own pictures of the covers of my ebooks.

By the way, every week I think I’m not going to have any books to put on here because technically, I’m on a self-imposed book buying ban.  This week, I have SEVEN books.

Pyxis by K.C. Neal, For Review from the author, K.C. Neal.

Splendor by Anna Godbersen, Borrowed from my library.

A Need So Beautiful by Suzanne Young, Bought from Amazon.

The Death Cure by James Dashner, Bought from Amazon.

Zombies vs. Unicorns by Holly Black and Justine Larbalestier, Bought from Amazon.

Remembrance by Michelle Madow, For Review from the author, Michelle Madow.

Isle of Night: The Watchers by Veronica Wolff, Won from ??? If I’m being honest, I have no idea where this book came from.  What a nice surprise in the mail!  It’s signed to me and has two bookmarks.  I feel like a bonafide book blogger now that I have books coming in the mail and NO IDEA where they came from :)

UPDATE:  I found out this was won from The Story Siren.  At least I was a cool book blogger for one whole day ;)

I love the idea of taking pictures of your Kindle. I’m also on a book buying restriction – I went way crazy at the borders closeout sale and was put on timeout.

Thanks! I hope it encourages publishers to put the cover art with their ebooks. A lot of them don’t have it. Ha ha I stayed far away from Borders when it was closing just for that reason :)
