Summer is here! And that means summer reading! I’m doing something new with my kids. I have prizes for when they read a book off of my summer reading list. This list focuses mostly on classics with a few new books in there as well. These are books that I would still like to read as an adult or would have liked to read as a kid. The age range for this reading list is independent readers in elementary school.
Instead of linking each individual book on the list, I have made a shelf on Goodreads where you can find all 69 books from this list. I pulled a lot of these books off of the Caldecott and Newberry official websites.

I love this idea!

What a fun idea! Lately, I’ve had a real hankering to re-read the Little House books. I LOVED them as a child. It would be fun to revisit them as an adult.
