Waiting on Wednesday: City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare

February 8, 2012 By Jessica Filed Under: Waiting on Wednesday 8 Comments

“Waiting On” Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we’re eagerly anticipating.

Yay for more Cassandra Clare!  Maybe something happy will happen?? Maybe not?? LOL.  I love the action, suspense, tears, and romance that she packs into all of her novels.  She is not afraid to put you through the wringer and I enjoy every heart-pounding page of her books.

Release Date: May 8, 2012

Series: The Mortal Instruments #5

I’ve been reading to read the TMI series for awhile but haven’t yet gotten around to it.  Glad to know you think they’re good!

I haven’t gotten around to book four yet, but something about the cover of this one is putting me off.  It looks too much like a cheesy romance novel to me.

I can’t believe that we are already five books into this series and I haven’t picked it up yet! I don’t know why because I am so drawn to the covers and the blurbs I’m sure that I would love it. This will be the year!!!

Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier! Have a great week. :)

I’m really looking forward to this book, but I’m really not looking forward to the cliffhanger we’ll no doubt be left on! I think this is my favourite cover for the series so far, too.

I’ve only read City of Bones in her TMI series, but I absolutely loved it! I really have to pick up the rest of the series too..

Thanks for stopping by at my blog! (:
