A Hunger Games Giveaway!

March 3, 2012 By Jessica Filed Under: Events 17 Comments

Hi everyone! I was at Wal-mart the other day when I saw these lovlies:

The Hunger Games Tribute Guide and The Hunger Games Movie Mockingjay Prop Replica Pin

And I just knew I had to get extras of each (cuz of course I got some for me, too) to giveaway on my blog because I am super excited to see the Hunger Games movie!  You want to know how excited I am? I am going to the midnight showing with a bunch of my Utah book blogger friends.  I haven’t been to anything at midnight since Breaking Dawn came out in *googling* 2008 because let’s face it, I’m getting old and I can’t stay up that late.  But I’m making an exception for the Hunger Games.  That’s love.

Check out the new clip from the film in HD

Woo! Awesome, huh?

This giveaway is going to end on March 16 because I want you to get it before the movie comes out on March 23 so you can wear your awesome pin to it and read up on all the tributes!

Rules

  • US/Canada only. I’m shipping it at my own expense and can’t afford to ship it internationally.
  • Must be at least 13 years old to enter
  • The winner has 48 hours to respond to my email with their mailing address or a new winner will be chosen

Good luck!  There’s a saying about odds and them being in your favor, but I can’t think of it at the moment…. ;)

Awesome giveaway! I’m going to the midnight showing too. The last midnight showing I went to was Deathly Hallows pt 2.  I am usually in bed by 10 or 11 so that’s really late for me. Plus I have to get up with the kiddo in the am. I have to go see The Hunger Games at midnight though. I am so excited for it!!

Thank you for the giveaway. I have heard so much about this book. :)  I haven’t read it yet but I plan on seeing the movie. If I like the movie, I’ll read the book. The books are always better than the movies!!!!

Which section of Walmart did you find the mockingjay pin? I’ve wanted one since the first time I read The Hunger Games!

The pins were just sitting there on the shelf next to the Hunger Game Tribute books. If you can’t find it at Wal-mart, Hot Topic sells them, too, I think.
