  • What: From Carl at Stainless Steel Droppings’ sign-up post: “Eight years ago I became aware of reading challenges and wanted to start one of my own, hoping to find others who shared my Autumnal predilection for the works of Edgar Allen Poe, H.P. Dewey’s 24-hour Read-a-thon

  • What: For 24 hours, we read books, post to our blogs about our reading, and visit other readers’ blogs. We also participate in mini-challenges throughout the day. It happens twice a year, in April and in October.

This might be my last Utah and Online events post.  Since I got pretty much all of this information from The King’s English Facebook page, I feel like this post isn’t necessary.  I will start sharing these events on my Facebook page where you can easily join the event and have it automatically added to your calendar and Facebook will nag you to go! :)  But if you guys really like these posts, I will keep doing them.  I love spreading the word about book signings so if you find out about them here I don’t want you to miss out! Let me know I guess what you think.

    There are so many bookish events in Utah! I love that! I visited Salt Lake and I loved it. Such clean air! *sigh* I am looking forward to the read-a-thon! YEAH and don’t forget http://bloggiesta.com too!
